Town Hall – RISE ABOVE
uab bank successfully held an e-Town Hall on 5th November 2021 connecting over 1,700 uabians at Head Office, Branches and other centers throughout Myanmar. uabians at Head Office gathered on Level 23, uab Towers @ Times City while the branches and other centers were linked digitally.
At the Town Hall, Christopher Loh, our CEO reflected on Bank’s performance over the last financial year and the strategic plans that uab bank had going forward into the new financial year.
The Town Hall also paid its respects to the uabians who had recently passed away during the 3rd wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and expressed its gratitude with awards to 21 uabians who had unselfishly supported their fellow colleagues throughout this severe pandemic. Their selfless acts included obtaining and filling O2 tanks, delivering O2 concentrators, transporting patients to hospital and arranging for vaccines.
It was a satisfying and meaningful time of employee engagement which allowed uabians to pay their respects and express their gratitude to those who had the courage to RISE ABOVE the difficult circumstances.
