Yangon, 30th October 2019 – uab bank, Myanmar’s Best Bank by Euromoney, continued their successful run this year by winning two (2) more awards at the 5th PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards 2019 held on 23rd October 2019.
At the awards presentation ceremony commemorating a year of achievements in real estate development, uab bank won the “Best Office Interior Design” and “Special Recognition for Bank Facility” awards. These awards are in recognition of their stunning new head office – uab Tower @ Times City.
uab Tower @ Times City is an ambitious project. The entire renovation and fit out was handled by Crown Advanced Construction, the developer of Times City Complex with design company Bodhitree Construction Group (HK). The teams worked relentlessly over the past 14 months through many iterations of the designs to create a true masterpiece.
Celebrating yet another milestone and achievement, Christopher Loh, MD & CEO of uab bank, said,
“These awards bear testimony of what a Myanmar company and bank could achieve – a world class office that comes with advanced security setup, innovative workspace and design that rivals some of the best not just in the region but globally!
One whole year of hard work and dedication to create a space we can be proud of, from the very beginning even before the building facade is up… we’ve come a long way and I’m very thankful for all the people who have made it possible!
I’m certain that this new workplace will instil a huge sense of pride and identity amongst all uabians and inspire them to continue contributing towards our purpose of leading change and humanising banking.”
A series of exclusive “open house” invitations will be sent out soon to our key customers and partners to view and celebrate this award-winning workplace with us. Grand opening ceremony of the premise is scheduled for January 2020 to usher in the 10th year anniversary of uab bank.
