We are looking for an innovative Software Engineer to develop, implement and up-date systems architecture that will meet business needs of the Bank. The Software Engineer’s responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement. You should also be able to regularly communicate with the Management on updates in Technology related projects.
Job Description
- Analyze the business technology needs and translate these needs into system and architecture requirements to ensure the business needs and requirements can be met by the architecture design.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement services and tools to achieve the solution architecture.
- Able to perform all aspects of the software development tasks, including front- end, back- end, API development, database design and development.
- Designing and describing the solutions specific to business problems.
- Participate in the entire application life cycle.
- The applicant is expected to possess strong problem-solving skills, programming, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
- Follow new and emerging technologies.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field, required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years progressively responsible experience with web application and API development.
- MVC, APIs, SQL and Object-oriented programming, required.
- Must technical skills: Python (Odoo Framework), MVC, Web API, WCF, REST, XML, JSON, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, SQL and Git.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- Proven record of multi-tiered application development with big datasets.
- Excellent analytical, organization, problem‐solving, communication skills, required.
- Accommodate work schedule and works flexible hours to meet crucial project deadlines as required.
- Ability to work as a member of a team, as well as individual contributor, required.
- Familiarity with Cloud (Azure, AWS, etc.) technologies, a plus.
- Proficient in English (Preferred).
