Job Summary:
The Business Finance Analyst in the Group Finance Department is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather financial information, conducting financial analysis, and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights into the organization’s financial performance. Develop financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and planning processes.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide support for decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Support the Team Lead and Head of Group Finance in ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance or group finance setting.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
