The Bancassurance Manager will report to Head of Consumer Sales & Bancassurance and oversee and coordinate all insurance sales and service activities of the bank.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Organizes and oversees the schedules, territories, and performance of the bank insurance specialist.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Negotiating with Insurance companies and branches/ department
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides leadership to the assigned region, overseeing insurance sales and service activities and branches.
Collaborates with branch managers to develop sales goals for each branch/ location, monitors progress toward those goals, and develops strategies to achieve the target.
Identifies opportunities for improvement in the branch region; designs and implements training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
Schedules and directs regular sales meetings and events to share information, set and revise goals, and to increase morale.
Collaborates with executive leadership and bank partners to develop territories, sales quotas, and strategies.
Maintaining relationships with insurance companies, agents, brokers, reinsurers, and other entities within the industry.
Negotiating with Insurance companies to obtain the best rates possible for clients.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent General/ Life Insurance knowledge, sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Thorough understanding of company’s products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field; OR
Extensive experience as sales manager in insurance industry.
