Key Responsibilites
- Conduct interviews with team leader to obtain useful information in resolving a fraud case
- Investigate matters concerning Bank fraud/security activities in an attempt to minimize and/or eliminate financial risk and loss to the Bank
- Analyze financial documents , data and other unusual things to identify inconsistencies in the records and environment
- Submit recommendations to Team Leader on ways to minimize risk of fraud.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record of all interrogations and overall investigative operations
- Responsible for the detection, prevention, and investigation of fraud
- Collect and analyze relevant documents, and financial records to obtain clues regarding a monetary controversy
- Maintain an honest/ethical benchmark when conducting investigations to ensure a non-discriminatory analysis
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of trends in financial as well as current techniques employed in detecting fraudulent operations
- Assist to team leader preparing quarterly and annual activity reports on the status of allegations, preliminary reviews and progress update on assignments
- Maintain absolute confidentiality at all the times
- Other duties assignment as required
- Always ready to go, check and investigate if required
Qualifications
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree preferably with a Master’s degree in business/accounting/law or professional qualifications in relevant field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in multiple facets of banking and more prefer investigation experience in bank and any financial institutions
- Strong communication skills: ability to write, present and clearly defend findings and recommendations of investigations
- Strong organizational and analytical skills: attention to detail and ability to work independently and manage challenges;
- High level of integrity: strong interpersonal, interviewing skills, ability to develop trust and demonstrate fairness
- Proficient in English language skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
