“Be The Change Myanmar” by uab bank to grant 1,000 wishes this Christmas
Yangon, 19th December 2018 – Be The Change Myanmar (#bethechangemm), an initiative by UAB Bank to bring change to people and community is expanding its #wishesdocometrue program this year and targets to grant the wishes of 1,000 under-privileged children this Christmas. Since its inception in December 2017, Be The Change Myanmar has granted over 400 wishes of under-privileged children.
“Everyone has the ability to change and lead change. We believe that within each individual, there is something greater… #bethechangemm is a call to every individual to look inside themselves and take a step forward to be the change they want to see. We are happy to see more people believing and supporting this initiative and together we targets to grant the wishes of more 1000 under-privileged children in Yangon.” said UAB Bank’s CEO Christopher Loh.
Wishes collection from children by uabians and wish angels had been done since the beginning of December and wishes will be published on UAB Bank’s Facebook Page and Website. Wishes of children from orphanages, child labors, visually impaired schools, government primary schools and hospitals. The campaign also honors our esteemed volunteers who serve Be The Change Myanmar program in a variety of capacities whether it be their time, energy or resources to make wishes do come true.

“This is our second year and we look forward to continuing this #bethechangemm initiative by UAB. We are very grateful to Shwe Taung Group and the management of Junction Square who believe in this purpose of sharing the joys and bringing cheers to the under-privileged, and continued to sponsor the venue for this event. On 25th December 2018 at Junction Square, wish angels, uabians and volunteers from our partner organisations will help be in action to inspire and share the joys of with these children. Activities include 3D face painting, musical performances, games and magic show will be held during the event from 10am to 6:30pm.
