Security Team Leader

The Security Team Leader reports to the Head of Administration Department and is responsible for the day-to-day security operations and safety of the Bank. This involves daily supervising the security guards at all branches, maintaining the discipline of security guards and ensuring the quality of their services.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day operation, quality and all safety aspects of the bank
  • Supervise security guards at branches and other units nationwide
  • Attends to Customer/ staffs complaints concerning security and safety
  • Review policies, procedures and instructions on regular basis to ensure maintenance of the highest level of security and best possible state of readiness
  • Take a leadership role in all emergencies and emergency response team
  • Direct security training for security guards and other staff including fire training
  • Submit regular reports on safety hazards to HOD with recommendation
  • Direct investigation of all incident in the bank like pilferage, accidents and other forms of offenses against customer and staffs
  • Oversees the duty schedule and work cycle to ensure maximum productivity
  • Responsible for staff discipline and welfare
  • Make regular checks to ensure all equipment in all branches are safe

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • 7+ years supervisory experience in related field.
  • Strong command of English is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all key stakeholders (both internal and external)
  • self-motivated and a result- driven approach
  • Strong leadership skill
  • Good computer skills in MS office and PowerPoint, Email & Internet.
