Yangon, 6th<\/sup>\u00a0May 2019<\/strong>\u2013 United Amara Bank Limited (uab \u1018\u100f\u103a\u1021\u1014\u1031\u1016\u103c\u1004\u1037\u103a<\/strong>) announced that on the latest\u00a02019 Pwint Thit Sa Report (Transparency in Myanmar Enterprises),<\/strong>\u00a0it was ranked\u00a01st<\/sup>\u00a0for Corporate Governance<\/strong>\u00a0and received the\u00a05th\u00a0<\/sup>highest overall score for Transparency Reporting<\/strong>.<\/p>

This year\u2019s Pwint Thit Sa report is the 5th<\/sup>\u00a0report undertaken by Yangon-based Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business in partnership with the consulting firm, Yever. The 2019 report widely used the\u00a0<\/a>ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard and other assessment criteria to assess disclosure of corporate governance by large companies.<\/p>
